Heritage Latin Academy exists to glorify God by cultivating wisdom and virtue in students through a Christ centered, academically rigorous classical education. In partnership with Christian families, we form the whole child—heart, mind, and soul—through the stages of the trivium (grammar, logic, and rhetoric), immersing students in Latin, the Great Books, and the rich heritage of the Christian West. We shape their affections toward truth, goodness, and beauty, equipping them to be leaders in society and loving servants of Jesus Christ who love and serve God first, and bear lasting fruit for His glory.

Aaron O’Neill, Founder
Aaron O’Neill is the founder of Heritage Latin Academy, established to glorify God by cultivating wisdom and virtue in students through a Christ-centered, academically rigorous classical education.
In partnership with Christian families, Aaron is committed to forming the whole child—heart, mind, and soul—through the time-tested stages of the trivium: grammar, logic, and rhetoric. Heritage immerses students in Latin, the Great Books, and the rich heritage of the Christian West, shaping their affections toward truth, goodness, and beauty. The aim is to equip students to become faithful leaders and loving servants of Jesus Christ who love God first and bear lasting fruit for His glory.
Aaron brings a background in Naval Special Operations leadership and organizational responsibility, which informs his emphasis on order, discipline, and long-term institutional faithfulness. He is a husband and father of three and is deeply invested in building a school that serves Hampton Road families across generations.
